The Dow Jones industrial average lost 0.38 percent to 12,738.41, the Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 0.14 percent to 1,457.63, Nasdaq composite index climbed 0.21 percent to 2,518.42 on American market.
Hewlett-Packard dipped $2.03 to $41.1, Motorola went down 27 cents to $18.9 while Apple gained $3.3 to $89.2. The FTSE 100 ended 0.87 percent lower at 6357.1, France's CAC-40 fell around 33 percent to 5694.56 while Germany's Dax eased 0.59 percent to 6941.66, APA reports.
