51 hectares of lands of 118 residents, 1.2 hectares of lands of municipality and 10 hectares of forest lands in the village of Lay will be used to expand Lenkeran Airport.
Lay village municipality chair Umidvar Valiyev told APA bureau that AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines Concern) undertook to pay compensation of $17 000 per hectare and bank accounts have already been opened in regional branch of International Bank of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
