Azerbaijani boxers win five medals

The results were summed up of the European boxing championship among the students in Moscow. Azerbaijan’s seven-member boxing team won five bronze medals, the Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan's official website reported on Friday.

Kamran Malikov (52 kg), Shaban Shakhpalangov (56 kg), Elnur Zeynalov (64 kg), Rauf Ragimov (81 kg) and Farid Pashayev (91kg) have taken bronze at the European championship. The competition brought together approximately 106 boxers from 18 countries. Azerbaijani boxers Salman Ibragimov (60 kg) and Yulchu Zeynalov (75 kg) failed to take any victory. Jeyhun Abiyev represented Azerbaijan at the competition as a judge.
