Azerbaijani young footballers to train in Barcelona

Eleven young players from Azerbaijan will travel to Barcelona to train in the Hristo Stoichkov Football Academy.

"Young footballers in the Tovuz region have great potential, and with the proper preparation they can expect a great future," Technical Director of the Academy Antonio Sánchez Muñoz said at a news conference in Baku yesterday. The academy operates in close cooperation with the Barcelona Football Club.

Tovuz Football Club President Musa Suleymanov said the young people born in 1996-1998 will travel to Barcelona for two years of training.

Academy offcial Lohse Villar Bereng said the Hristo Stoichkov Football Academy trains young players in general subjects and carries out a separate approach to each child.
