Azeri taekwondo fighter wins European gold

Student of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) Nijat Muslumov weighing in at 68 kg has garnered a gold medal in the European Para Taekwondo Championship held in Moscow, Russia.

Rector of ASOA Siyavush Garayev congratulated champion and presented a memorial gift in the ceremony held in the academy.

Azeri taekwondo fighters have claimed 3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals in the championship.

The championship brought together fighters from France, Azerbaijan, Finland, Turkey, Russia, Croatia, Israel and Greece.
