FC Karabakh defeats Brugge in Uefa EUropa League

Azerbaijan`s FC Agdam failed to progress to the next round of the UEFA Europa League despite a narrow 1-0 win over Belgian Brugge in the second leg at home.

The only goal came from Bakhtiyar Soltanov in the 88th minute.

The Belgian side sealed a comfortable 4-1 victory in the first match on July 28.
On the way to the third round, FC Karabakh beat Lithuania`s Banga and Faroese football club Streymur.
