Azeri judo fighters to compete in Brasilia tournament

Azerbaijani national judo team will participate in the Grand Slam tournament, due on June 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia.

Azerbaijan will be represented by bronze medalist of the World Cup in Tallinn Nijat Shikhalizade, World Cup Winner Ilgar Mushkiyev (both - 60 pts), finalist of the European Championship Tarlan Karimov (66 kg), Olympic champion Elnur Mammadov, silver medalist of the Grand Prix Baku Elkhan Rajabli (both - 81 kg), Elkhan Mammadov (90 kg), Elmar Gasimov (100 kg), winner of Grand Prix Baku Kifayat Gasimova (57 kg) and bronze medalist of the World Ramil Yusubov (63 kg).

They will vie for medals in World Cup in Sao Paulo.
