Azeri judo fighter claims European title

Azerbaijani judo fighter Elnur Mammadli has become a two-fold European champion in Istanbul, Turkey, after beating Moldovan Sergiu Toma.

On the way to the final, Mammadli defeated Greek Pavlos Gkaraklov, Montenegrin Srdjan Mrvaljevic, Russian Murat Khabachirov, Croatian Tomislav Marijanovic and French Alain Schmitt.
