Azerbaijani chess player Khanim Balajayeva, 9, is the first with 6.5 points despite losing to Russian rival Alexandra Obolensova in the world school chess championship in Kayseri, Turkey.
Chingiz Gasimov ranks 15th among 11-year-olds.
