Azerbaijan to host mountain sport festival

The Air and Extreme Sports Federation will hold a mountain sport festival for the first time in Azerbaijan on July 14-18, the Federation said.
The festival "Golden Rock-2010" is organized with the support of the West University.

The festival will feature bouldering competitions, hiking to the Heydar Peak on Mount Shahdag and scrambling up the rocks with height of 200-300 meters.

Over 100 participants from 20 clubs of the Federation, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Federation of Mountain Climbing will participate in the events.
