National weightlifters to vie for European medals

Azerbaijani weightlifters will compete in the European Championships to be held in Split, Croatia from April 2 to 8.

Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Mammadli Mahammad (62kg), Isa Rustamov (69kg), Kamran Ismayilov (85kg) and Huseyn Ismayilov (94kg), Azertac reported.

The tournament will bring together 324 athletes from 42 countries.
