National journalists, including broadcast, online and print media, got a chance to learn about the online registration portal and media accreditation guide for Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix to be staged on the streets of Baku on the weekend of June 23-25, 2017.
Media accreditation for 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix and the overall Formula 1 World Championship is administered by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and Formula One Management. It is carried out in three ways based on the type of mass media:
• Online accreditation for local media through BCC: Only for local mass media, including newspapers, magazines, news agencies, websites, TV and radio;
• Online accreditation through the official website of FIA: For all international mass media, including newspapers, magazines, news agencies, websites, TV and radio, which apply for all races of 2017 FIA Formula 1 World Championship;

Azerbaijan’s national media representative should apply via the BCC official website: https://www.bakucitycircuit.com/media/media-accreditation. The deadline to apply for media access to the 2016 F1 Grand Prix of Europe is 17.00 (Baku time) on March 31st.
