Namig Asadov: Such marathons will strongly push the development of athletics

Organization of such marathons every year will strongly push the development of athletics, winner of the Baku Marathon 2016 Namig Asadov, 27, told journalists.


“I am a teacher at the Ankara lyceum. I am attending this marathon for the first time. But I am prize winner of some international competitions. And today, the experience allowed me to win,” he added.


He also expressed gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for a high-level organization of the event.
