Azerbaijani canoeing racers compete in European championship

Azerbaijani kayak and canoe sprint team is competing in the 2013 European Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint Championships in Poznan, Poland, held from June 27 to 30, at the Malta Regatta Course.
In canoe single 1000 meters heats for men, Azerbaijan`s U18 Alexei Kupin has qualified for the final, timing 4 minute 3,886 seconds.

Another Azerbaijani kayak racer and canoeist including Mahammadtahir Huseyniafshar, Amil Huseynli in kayak`s event and Taras Matviychuk in canoeing qualified for the semi final.
Azerbaijani athletes will also test their strength at the 500-200 meters` distance race.
