Monday Neymar's presentation day

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) gave Neymar permission to travel to Spain next Monday, the day he is to be presented as Barcelona's newest recruit. The Brazilian will undergo the standard medical examination before signing a five-year contract with the Catalan club.

Afterwards, Neymar will take to the pitch inside the Camp Nou, which is to open its gates to welcome its new star. He will also address the media.

Carlos Alberto Parreira, the CBF's technical director commented after authorising Neymar's trip to Barcelona that "not only do we agree with his trip, but we also authorise him to attend every interview he needs to before returning to training with his mind firmly on the national team and the tournament."

Neymar will travel after taking part in Brazil's friendly match against England at the Maracaná Stadium this Sunday and will then rejoin his national team in Goiania.
