Azerbaijani canoeists fail to win medals

Azerbaijani Maksim Prokopenko and Sergiy Bezugliy pair, who qualified for the final in the men`s canoe double (C2) 1000m, struggled to win a medal for Azerbaijan. Leaving behind all their rivals in the early minutes of the race, Prokopenko and  Bezugliy failed to struggle till the end and finished in the 4th place.
