Azeri grandmaster wins int'l tournament

Azerbaijani grandmaster Azer Mirzayev has claimed the title of an international tournament in Seville, Spain. He scored 8 points. Croatian Ante Saric ranked second, followed by Dutch Karel van der Weide. The Swiss system tournament brought together 232 players, including 21 grandmasters.
