Equestrian tournament ended in Baku

The Winter Cup the CSI2*-W category of the International show-jumping tournament ended at the Sarhadchi Equestrian Center in Novkhani on Sunday. The tournament brought together horsemen from Azerbaijan, Poland, Turkey and Georgia.

Grand Prix competition was held at the final day of the tournament. Polish Alessandro Lissione with a horse Calinca won the competition. Georgian Shalva Gachechiladze with a horse Chewing Gum ranked second and Azerbaijani Jamal Rahimov finished third with a horse Platine E.

Lissione, Gachechiladze and Rahimov gained 50, 45 and 40 points respectively in the tournament booking their berth in the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.
