Azerbaijan approves criteria for accreditation of secondary schools

“The criteria determining the correspondence of the activity of general education establishments to the requirements of the state education standards” and “The criteria determining the correspondence to the status of the general education establishments” were approved in Azerbaijan, Head of Accreditation department of the Ministry of Education Habib Zarbaliyev said.

According to him, the accreditation of the comprehensive schools will start in Azerbaijan in the next few days. Zarbaliyev said that the accreditation of general education establishments will be realized in correspondence with composed graphics.

Initially, this process will cover 11 pilot schools. The pilot schools are the school No 27 of Gandja City, No 16 of Shirvan city, No 225 of Baku City, Gymnasium of Natural Sciences in Sumgayit, school No 64 in Baku, No 10 in Mingachevir, No 1 in Aghdash, No 4 and 6 in Lankaran, No 3 in Sheki, No 2 in Guba.
