First winter days will be cold in Azerbaijan

Weather in the country will dramatically change on Dec.1, while the rain in the foothills and mountains will likely turn to snow later, the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's National Hydrometeorology Department reported.

No rainfall is expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula on Nov.30 during the day. The north-west winds will blow in the morning and then will change the direction to the south-west in the second half of the day. The air temperature at night will be 0-4 degrees Celsius and 5-9 degrees Celsius during the day.

Foggy weather is expected in the Azerbaijani region on Nov.30. The air temperature will be below zero degrees Celsius there.
