Azerbaijan attends ISESCO`s meeting on cultural strategy in Algeria

Azerbaijan was represented by advisor for Co-operation with International Organizations and Programmes Division of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Vasif Eyvazzade in the 11th Session of the Consultative Council in Charge of the Implementation of the Cultural Strategy for the Islamic World in Algiers, Algeria.

Azerbaijan has held chairmanship of the conference of cultural ministers of Islamic countries since 2009.

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has organized the session.

According to Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the session aims at gathering documents to be presented in the 7th conference of cultural ministers of Islamic countries in late November over the announcement of Tlemcen as the Islamic Culture Capital of Arab Region for 2011.
