Seminar on rights of disabled people held in Baku

Council Of Europe`s (CoE) Directorate General of Social Cohesion and Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population have today held a seminar on implementation of the CoE`s Action Plan to promote the rights and full participation of people with disabilities in society in 2006-2015.

Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fizuli Alakbarov, representatives of CoE`s Directorate General of Social Cohesion, MPs, as well as representatives of various organizations and NGOs attended the event.

Social protection of disabled people, international experience on promoting full participation of people with disabilities in society, and other issues were discussed during the seminar.
