Two Azerbaijani members of Al-Qaeda arrested in Istanbul

Three members of Al-Qaeda have been arrested in Istanbul. Anadolu agency reported that two of them are Azerbaijanis.

The persons detained as a result of the operation carried out by Department to Combat Terrorism of Istanbul Police Office were taken to Besiktas courthouse.

Mehmet T., Azerbaijani citizens Fuzuli M. and Islam G. were interrogated by Istanbul prosecutor Ufuk Emertcan. They faced charges for being members of terrorist organization and were arrested.
