Traffic to be limited for days on some Baku streets

The State Road Police Office under the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry announces that due to the military parade to be held on June 26, some central Baku streets will be obstructed.

Department public relations head of the road police of the Baku Main State Police Office, lieutenant colonel Vagif Asadov said that due to the parade, the Road Police informs drivers that the traffic in some central avenues and streets of Baku will be limited for a while.

"From June 23, 06:00 a.m. till the end of the event on June 26, the traffic movement will be stopped in Azadlig square, A. Jalilov, Uzeyir Hajibayov streets, as well as Zarifa Aliyeva Avenue. The traffic will be also limited in Rasul Rza, Khagani streets, Neftchilar Avenue, Azneft circle and Gurban Abbasov street. Baku-Astara highway will be closed by 14 kilometers", Asadov said.

According to the police lieutenant colonel, during the event, these streets will be closes both for movement and parking. Drivers are recommended to use alternative routes.
