Ali Abbasov meets with German Ambassador

As APA reports, the guest was briefed about Azerbaijan's integration to the west, growth in the ICT sphere, implementation of Electronic Azerbaijan State Program and creation of information society.

It was also mentioned that an understanding memorandum was signed with D-12 initiative group during Ali Abbasov’s visit to Germany last year.

Mr. Stankina said that small and medium-sized enterprises play an important part in creation of stable economy not only in Azerbaijan but also any country in transition economy and Germany intends to contribute to this sphere.

The ambassador also added that reforms in ICT sphere have paved the way for suitable investment climate and German investors show great interest in Azerbaijan after privatization.
