Prosecutor's Office interrogates Haji Mammadov on Elmar Huseynov murder

Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

Judge Ali Seyfaliyev said the Prosecutor's Office of Republic sent a letter saying that Haji Mammadov was interrogated related to the murder of "Monitor" journal editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov, APA reports.

The letter asks the court to allow to the interrogation of gang members Nizami Abdullayev, Musa Dabuyev, Farhad Mammadbayov and Malik Mammadov as there appeared necessity after Mammadov's testimony.

The court positively responded to the letter of the Prosecutor's Office. Therefore, the trial was postponed until 21 August.
