Same name medicines to have single price in Azerbaijan

Rules on the sale of medicines bearing the same name in drugstores with a single price have been worked out in Azerbaijan, Deputy Health Minister Elsever Agayev told journalists on Thursday.

According to him, a package of proposals worked out jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development was submitted to the country's Cabinet of Ministers in June 2013.

"A package of documents was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers. It reflects provisions on the rules of medicine sale based on the formation of a single price and control mechanism," the Deputy Minister said.
