
Baku has today hosted a final conference as “Strengthening 20 village municipalities capability to provide public services (safe water supply) in the rural area of Karabakh lowlands of Central Azerbaijan” project, implemented by Oxfam Azerbaijan, completed.
Addressing the event, Oxfam Azerbaijan Director Shovkat Alizade said the project, aimed at ensuring village population with drinking water, was implemented by Aran Humanitarian Regional Development Organization and the Support to Economic Initiatives Public Union with the financial assistance of the Oxfam and EU in the villages of Barda, Agjabadi and Tartar. Some 500 families were provided with drinking water.
Alizade said the project saw the creation and rebuilding of drinking water system in 11 villages.
