Khazar University`s chairman arranges agreements with some Turkish Universities

During the two-day trip to Ankara, Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees at Khazar University has met with the Turkish Higher Education Council (HEC) Chairman Prof. Dr. Gokhan Chetinsaya.

At a meeting held at HEC, the two sides touched upon the relations between Kazar University and Turkish universities.

Prof. Chetinsaya noted that he would support all useful cooperation, highlighting “All programs of Khazar University accredited by the Ministry of Education (including all three levels available: bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs) are recognized by the Council of Higher Education.”
A new agreement on Mevlana Program was signed during the meeting of Hamlet Isaxanli with the president of Gazi University, Professor Suleyman Buyukberber.

According to this program, the student and faculty exchanges at all levels between the two universities will be financed by the Turkish government. This is the first Mevlana Program Agreement signed between Azerbaijani and Turkish universities.

H. Isaxanli also met with the president of Hacettepe University, Professor A. Murat Tuncer to discuss importance of cooperation between the two universities and made a decision to prepare a contract accordingly.

Within the trip, an agreement was also reached with the director of UTEST Material Testing Equipment, Tarik Usanmaz, about building a laboratory of construction materials at Khazar University.
