Khazar University among high-ranking world universities

Azerbaijan`s Khazar University has been placed in the highest league in Webometrics Ranking.

Webometrics ranked 21,000 world universities, including universities in Azerbaijan, based on their general strength, modernity, electronic presence, and recognition in electronic sources.
The rating is performed by one of the world`s leading research centers, Spanish National Research Council.

They use the methodology of Stanford University and Google research as a basis. The center was created by Nobel Laureate Professor Ramon y Cajal in 1907. The Webometrics rating has been ranking world universities since 2004.

Khazar became the only Azerbaijani university to make it to the highest league.
