Azerbaijan deports over 640 foreigners last week

Around 641 foreigners were deported from Azerbaijan last week, the Azerbaijani State Migration Service told Trend on Tuesday.

It was found that around 698 foreigners and people without citizenship violated administrative law in terms of the rules of residence, temporary and permanent residence in Azerbaijan.

Around 57 people were fined and their staying in the country was legalized. Some 611 foreign citizens were ordered to leave Azerbaijan within 48 hours. A decision was made to expel 30 foreigners from the country in an administrative manner

Last week, the service checked several facilities to reveal the facts of illegal employing of foreigners and persons without citizenship. The appropriate measures were taken towards seven enterprises.
