“One Billion Tourists- One Billion Opportunities” roundtable held in Baku

A roundtable on the theme “One Billion Tourists- One Billion Opportunities” has today been held in Azerbaijan Institute of Tourism. Addressing the event, Rector Jafar Jafarov spoke about development of the tourism sector in Azerbaijan.

The campaign “One Billion Tourists: One Billion Opportunities” has been launched by UNWTO, the United Nations World Tourism Organization's (UNWTO).

This campaign is being launched to celebrate the fact that one billion tourists will travel internationally in 2012: a huge opportunity for economic growth, jobs, development and environmental protection.
