Azerbaijan, France eye educational cooperation

Azerbaijan and France have explored ways of expanding cooperation in the field of education as Azeri Minister of Educaiton Misir Mardnaov met ambassador Pascal Meunier. The Minister stressed the importance of stepping up efforts towards to diversifying the bilateral educational cooperation.

Mardanov hailed the role of Azerbaijan`s first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva in developing the two countries` cultural and educational contacts.

He also hailed the country`s cooperation with Cnous, the French national agency for the promotion of higher education.
