Japanese professor visits Baku State University

Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo Takeo Funabiki has visited the Baku State University (BSU) to meet its rector Abel Maharramov. Maharramov highlighted the university`s activities, particularly tis foreign relations.

They exchanged views on cooperation between BSU and Japanese universities. Funabiki was accompanied by Japan`s ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe. They also visited the university`s nanotechnological laboratory and scientific centres.

Funabiki also gave a speech to BSU students.
