More cases of scorpions sting recorded in Baku

About 54 people applied to Baku city Emergency Medical Aid Station with scorpion stings diagnosis since the beginning of the season, head doctor of department of Baku City Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Station Zemfira Vahidova said. According to her, 44 persons were hospitalized.

The first scorpion sting was recorded on May 13 this year. A scorpion sting was also recorded in Baku yesterday. The scorpion stung 58 year-old man living in Bina village of Baju’s Khazar District. He was delivered to Clinic Medical Center’s Toxicology Department.
