Shahdag tourist complex will be opened by late 2012

By the end of this year Shahdag winter and summer tourist centre plans to start receiving and providing services to local and foreign tourists, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism said on Thursday.

In the first phase of the creation of Shahdag winter and summer tourist complex construction of facilities continues at accelerated pace. One of the main directions of creation of infrastructure of the complex is the end of construction, repair work on the road, laid out from Gusar region.

A regular meeting held on Thursday, was dedicated to this issue. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev, Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerroadservice Javid Gurbanov, director of the complex Emin Khashimov, director of investment and technical programs department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Ruslan Abdulalimov and representatives of other organizations attended the meeting.

The meeting participants discussed the continuation of works on construction and reconstruction of the entrance road to the complex. In order to ensure high quality and timely implementation of planned activities specific instructions have been given.
