New parks to be constructed in Baku

“Research works were carried out to inspect the stableness of the landslide zone in Bayil slope,” director of the “Azerinsaatlahiye” State Institute of Project-Constructor and Technology of the State Construction Security Agency of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Yusif Naghiyev told journalists.

Naghiyev said that the famous companies of Japan and the Netherlands were invited by the MES by the order of President Ilham Aliyev: “Experts of these companies and ministry carried out research works to inspect the stableness of Bayil slope. After studying the stability level, the project was prepared on it. The project consists of 3 stages. In the first stage, the land was poured to load the bottom of the landslide at the intersection of Tofig Bagirov’s street and Neftchiler Avenue. Then zone of vegetation will be created in this area. In the second stage, fortification work will be carried out at the bottom of the Tofig Bagirov street at depth of 55 meters. Drainage wells will be dug to lower the water level by 3-5 meters at the top of the slope.”

Naghiyev said that the landslide zone covers 800 ha areas: “Currently the area is being inspected. Landslide zone covers 800 ha area from Ganli Lake to the Flag Square. After completion of researches, the project of the area will be prepared. After completion of all works a beautiful park will be established in Bayil slope.”
