Azerbaijan, Turkey boost tourism coop

Azerbaijan`s Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev has met Turkish delegation including Mu?la Governor Fatih Sahin and General Manager of ATM Dalaman Airport Hamdi Güvenç.

Addressing the event, the Culture and Tourism Minister informed the Turkish delegation on development prospects of tourism in Azerbaijan.

Stressing progress achieved in expansion of tourism infrastructure in the country, Abulfas Garayev noted that Azerbaijan is interested in further development of relationship with Turkey which has great experience in the relevant field.

The Turkish officials said that there are ample opportunities for development of tourism industry in Azerbaijan. The visitors underscored the importance of relations in relevant sphere for both countries. The sides also discussed joint cooperation in tourism and issues of mutual interest.
