Round table on civil society held in Baku

A round table on “Civil Society: Realities and Prospects” has today been arranged at the Centre for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President. Azerbaijani experts as well as assistants to US senators and congressmen attended the event.

The participants discussed realities and prospects of civil society, factors influencing its development, and the role of non-governmental organisations.In Azerbaijan, the US delegation visited the country`s regions, met refugees and IDPs, and also discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
