Quake hits Azerbaijan

A 3.5-magnitude quake occurred in Azerbaijan, APA reports quoting the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to Republic Seismological Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, on March 12, 2012 the quake was recorded in Shamakhi and Ismayilli regions at 08.53. Its magnitude was 3.5 in the epicenter.

3-magnitude quake was felt in Pirgulu settlement of Shamakhi region and 2.5- magnitude in Ismayilli city. On March 11, the quake also occurred in Zagatala region.
