Raids on prevention of illegal hunting bear fruits

Employees of the related bodies of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry conducted next raids with the purpose to inspect the condition of conformity with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On hunting” in the territory of the country on March 1-5, 2012.

During the raids 2 shotguns were confiscated from 2 poachers, and a statement was accordingly drawn up. An administrative penalty worth AZN 1000 was imposed on the law violators.

In this regard, illicit hunters including 1 (with a shotgun) in the territory of Ag gyol National Park and 1 (with a shotgun) in Garadag district were seized, a protocol was drawn up, and a penalty was imposed commensurately. Raids on the prevention of illegal hunting are continued by the related bodies of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
