Azerbaijan, Netherlands boost cooperation in emergency situations

Azerbaijan’s minister of emergencies, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov met a Dutch delegation led by the Netherlands` Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment Melanie Henriette Schultz van Haegen-Maas Geesteranus.

During the meeting, Heydarov briefed the Dutch Minister on structure and activity of the Ministry as well as the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan.

In her turn, Melanie Henriette Schultz van Haegen-Maas Geesteranus hailed friendly and cooperative relations with Azerbaijan in all spheres. She stressed the necessity of boosting cooperation between the relevant structures. The two sides discussed water resources management and flood prevention.
