Conference on Anatolian and Azerbaijani kurgans in due Turkey

A scientific conference entitled “Shared database of Anatolian and Azerbaijani kurgans” was organized in Mustafa Kemal University in Hatay, Turkey. Head of archeology department Aynur Ozfirat gave information about the event.

“The conference organized as part of the project carried out by scientific research coordination group founded according to protocol clinched between the Mustafa Kemal University and the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will discuss creation of shared database for detailed investigation of kurgans in both countries,” she said.

Their conference saw reports on archeological investigations in Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and Oluz Hoyuk- Persian dwellings in Anatolia by Mustafa Kemal University`s employee Fuad Huseynov and associate professor of Istanbul University Sevket Donmez accordingly. Huseyin Gozubenli, vice-rector of the Mustafa Kemal University presented keepsakes to the lecturers.
