Trams return to Baku

The tram transport can be restored  in Baku after of the White City Project realization. Azerbaijani Transport Ministry Spokesman told ANSpress that the tram tracks are expected to be laid along the Baku Boulevard following the completion of the White City Project.

However, it is unlikely that the tram line will cover the major road networks of Baku. Restoration of the tram transport in Baku is interesting from the standpoint of exotism of the city, and useful from an environmental aspect, Hasanov said.
