Long awaited warm weather in Baku

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported that  the weather is predicted to be lesser rainy, mostly rainless in the afternoon, rainy in the evening in Baku and Absheron peninsula tomorrow.  

Southern wind will blow, will be substituted with temperate north-western wind in the evening, and will strengthen off and on.  The temperature is expected to be +1-3 C at night, +5-9 C in the afternoon, close to +2 C towards the evening.

On February 16, the weather is forecast to be mainly rainless in the afternoon, but rainy in the evening and at night on February 17. Temperate north-western wind will intensify in the evening and at night on February 17.

As for the country’s regions, the weather will be chiefly rainless, but rainy in some places in the evening on feb.16. Fog and drizzle will be in some places at night and in the morning. Snow is expected in the mountainous areas. Intermittently strengthening western wind will blow in the afternoon.

The temperature will be -3 C to +2 C at night, +4-9 C in the afternoon, -5-10 C in the mountains at night, and -2 C to +3 C in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is predicted to be -10-15 C.
