Turkey successfully tests first version of T-129 helicopter

Turkish Aviation and Space Industry (TASI) successfully tested first version of T-129 helicopter produced within the ATAK program, TASI press center said.

T-129 P6 carried out first test flights on Wednesday in Ankara. It flew 90 minutes.

The helicopter is equipped with anti-tank missile, air-to-air missiles, two 70-mm guided and free missiles, 20-mm cannon, 12.7-mm machinegun.

Azerbaijan also expressed interest to ATAK program. The issue is negotiated between the governments.
