
Iran is currently working on a programme, that, when finished, will allow to create new generation air-launch type 300km-range missiles, Head of Defense Department of Iran's Aerospace Industry, Mehdi Farahi said, Fars news agency reported.
Farahi went on to note that offensive and defensive type unmanned aircrafts are one of the most important parts of Iran's defense.
Previously at the annual military parade, Iran for the first time demonstrated new new naval phased array radar "Asr", and "Fakur 90" air-land missiles.
Aside from the abovementioned, Iran demonstrated 18 ballistic missiles "Qader F" and 12 missiles "Sacil", whose range can reach up to 2 thousand km.
