Business people demand interest-free state loans in Turkey after protests

Private entrepreneurs, whose business has been damaged as a result of protests in Istanbul, are demanding interest free state loans, CNN Turk TV channel said today.

According to the report, head of the Turkish Confederation of Entrepreneurs Bendevi Palandoken made such a statement to the government.

Earlier Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said the damage from the protests in Turkey reached over 70 million lira and that the government is ready to discuss the demands of protesters.

The official exchange rate is 1, 8796 TL/USD on June 6.
