
Georgia has begun supplying its citrus plants to Russia by transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus, Georgian Agriculture Minister David Kirvalidze said at a press conference on Tuesday.
He said the first container has already arrived in Russia, and this week two trucks loaded citrus plants may be supplied to Russia.
Kirvalidze also stressed that this week a consultative meeting will be held with winemakers to discuss derestriction of Georgian wine to enter the Russian market.
