Eurovision fan club start car-free day campaign

The official fan-club of Eurovision in Azerbaijan "OGAE Azerbaijan" and the country`s popular singer Adalat Shukurov have launched "A day without a car" campaign in Baku. The organizers of the campaign aim to discourage residents of the Azerbaijani capital from using their cars on Wednesdays in an attempt to reduce traffic jams.

Singer Shukurov called on Baku drivers to refrain from driving their cars starting from April 3. The campaign will be held until the start of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in May.
